The BIGSOUND Festival and Conference is back, with a renewed focus on community, conversation and creating real industry change. Our challenge was to develop a 2018 BIGSOUND brand that reflected this evolution while celebrating the Festival’s iconic spirit of discovery.

#2018 Festival & Conference

Since its launch, BIGSOUND has been a platform for emerging artists, forward-thinking speakers and new ideas. Now drawing over 1,000 artist applications and 14,000 attendees, the festival continues to grow steadily by year – not only in its size and economic impact – but in the calibre of its contribution to the wider industry conversation.

In this spirit of evolution, our intention was to develop a 2018 identity that was both a continuation of the 2017 brand story and fiercely unique. With a refreshed colour palette, a new suite of androgynous, human-like characters and a playful nod to characters past, the new BIGSOUND brand is bold, inclusive and disruptive – reflective of the event itself.
