A Website for Everyone
Orchestra is for everyone – and every performance offers something special. Our intention was to weave this spirit of community and accessibility through QSO’s web presence. By veering away from a formal visual style and towards an approachable look and feel, we developed an inviting platform that is designed to welcome every user.
Inspired by the word "everyone", we worked with the QSO team to ensure all parts of the orchestra were represented in the hero banner. The website places musicians front and centre, and every member of the orchestra is featured in photography and video in broader site sections. The style of photography further emphasises the organisation’s welcoming character, with pops of colour and genuine expressions. As the website is built on Bigfish publishing platform Tank, the QSO team has control over all content, as well as stylistic and interactive elements.

Concerts & Events
Event pages were designed to provide a thorough sense of the performance, extracting information that was included in the body text of the previous website and placing it within elements that add visual interest. Header images can be adapted to suit the importance of each event – with larger, more significant performances, then team can choose larger, more impactful imagery.
Key details about the event are simple to see at a glance. Composers and performers cross link, Spotify lists are embedded and future recommendations are provided, enabling the user to broaden their orchestra experience and explore upcoming events. Tank also integrates seamlessly with the Tessitura ticketing platform.
